Trading App Download in Pakistan: What to Check First
A trading app download in Pakistan usually takes a few minutes, but the decision behind it matters more than the install itself. This page sets out which brokers offer Android and iOS apps, what the deposit and trade minimums are, and where the regulatory gaps sit before you put money in.
Figures checked 12.10.2026Which brokers offer a trading app download in Pakistan
Most of the brokers compared on this site offer a native app for Android and iOS. Deriv, Pocket Option, Quotex, IQ Option, Olymp Trade, Expert Option, Exnova, BinaryCent and Binomo all list Android and iOS apps alongside a web platform. IQcent is the exception: it runs through a web trader and TradingView rather than a downloadable mobile app.
A trading app download is not the same as a trading account. Installing the app gets you to the login screen; the account, the deposit and the first trade are separate steps. The minimum deposit across these brokers ranges from $5 at Deriv and Pocket Option to $250 at BinaryCent and IQcent. The smallest trade size ranges from $0.01 at IQcent to $1 at Pocket Option, Quotex, IQ Option, Olymp Trade, Expert Option, Exnova and Binomo.
- Deriv: Android, iOS, Web, MT5, TradingView; own platforms Deriv Trader, Deriv X, SmartTrader
- Pocket Option: Android, iOS, Web, MT4, MT5

For most readers the practical choice is between the app stores of the two big mobile platforms. Both Google Play and the App Store carry the apps listed above, but availability can change without notice, and a broker's app being present in a store is not a licence to operate in Pakistan.
What the SECP does and does not cover
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan licenses securities and futures brokers of the local exchanges. It does not license offshore forex and fixed-time platforms, which is the category most of the brokers on this page fall into. That means a broker holding a licence from Malta, Labuan, Vanuatu, Mwali or Cyprus is not thereby authorised by the SECP.
Deriv holds licences on record from the MFSA (70156), Labuan FSA (MB/18/0024) and VFSC (company No. 14556). Pocket Option holds a licence from MISA in Mwali (T2022086). IQ Option holds a CySEC licence (247/14) covering the EEA. Olymp Trade is on record with a VFSC company number (40131, Aollikus Limited) and as a Financial Commission member. Expert Option is a Financial Commission member. Quotex, Exnova, BinaryCent and IQcent have no licence found in any register this site read.
In April 2025 the SECP issued a press release naming Qxbroker (Quotex) as unauthorised and referred the matter to the FIA, the PTA and Google. That is the only named SECP warning in the reference for this page. Other brokers carry warnings from foreign regulators: Pocket Option has FCA, Consob and CFTC warnings on record; BinaryCent has a VFSC notice of fraud, a CFTC red-list entry, an AMF blacklist entry and an FMA New Zealand warning; IQcent has FCA and Consob warnings plus no-regulator and withdrawal-complaint flags. Exnova carries withdrawal-complaint and no-regulator flags.
Deposits, payouts and the rupee question
Deposits on these platforms are quoted in US dollars, but the money leaves Pakistan in rupees. The payment routes that work from Pakistan are bank transfer, mobile wallets, cards and USDT. Bank transfer runs through any local bank via 1LINK or Raast. Mobile wallets mean JazzCash and Easypaisa, usually through a payment partner. Cards are Visa and Mastercard, subject to your bank's international limit. USDT is usually TRC-20 and is often the fastest route when a card is declined.
The maximum payout percentage on record ranges from 90% at Binomo to 100% at Deriv. Pocket Option lists 92%, Quotex 98%, IQ Option 95%, Olymp Trade 95%, Expert Option 95%, Exnova 92%, BinaryCent 92% and IQcent 98%. A higher payout percentage does not make an outcome more likely; it only sets the ceiling on what a winning trade returns.
Pakistan's tax authority is the Federal Board of Revenue, and cyber-related complaints go to the FIA cybercrime wing. Neither of those bodies is a substitute for checking a broker's standing before you deposit. If a platform refuses a withdrawal, the practical options in Pakistan are limited, which is why the warning record matters more than the app's download count.
How to approach a trading app download in Pakistan
Start with the regulator, not the app store. A broker with no licence in any register this site read, or with warnings from multiple foreign regulators, is a different proposition from one with a clean record on this page. Quotex, Exnova, BinaryCent and IQcent have no licence found in any register read, and BinaryCent in particular carries warnings from four different authorities.
Then look at the money. A $5 minimum deposit at Deriv or Pocket Option is a smaller commitment than $250 at BinaryCent or IQcent, but the minimum trade size also matters. IQcent allows trades from $0.01, while most others start at $1. If you are testing a platform, the combination of a low deposit and a low minimum trade keeps the initial exposure small.
Finally, separate the app from the account. Downloading an app commits you to nothing. Creating an account, verifying your identity and making a deposit are the steps that create obligations.
